It's beginning to look a lot like....
Dare I say it? I might annoy a few people if I start going on about that time of the year already, but now Halloween and Guy Fawkes are over and John Lewis have officially unveiled that 2013 advert, I think it's safe to say we are definitely heading towards CHRISTMAS!
I've refused to let myself get drawn into it so far, despite already buying my nephew two presents, but tonight as I am writing this, I have my Christmas cake baking in the oven and have found myself searching online for present ideas! My Dad is coming over from Cape Town to be with us this year too and getting a text from him this morning to say he's arriving 6 weeks today, has made me realise it really isn't that long to go so I can't help but think about it!
Despite the cold, dark nights drawing in, there is SO much to look forward to: snuggling by the fire in PJ's and slippers, winter accessories, sparkly dresses, Baileys (!), and lots and lots of parties!
Exciting times are approaching so it's time we got into the spirit of it, don't you think?
